“Welcome to the inaugural White Rose Classic Rally, sponsored by Fuchs Lubricants UK Ltd and promoted by Malton Motor Club Ltd. This is the first running of this event by a team of experienced competitors from Malton Motor Club. We will be based for our start and finish in our home town of Malton. There are a variety of venues providing accommodation in the area and a list can be found on the event webpages.

This first year we are heading up onto the Yorkshire Wolds for our morning exploration of the area and where we will also enjoy a light lunch before heading north and east towards the Yorkshire Coast before a run into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park on the way to our finish back in Malton.

The event will include a minimum of ten varied driving tests on sealed and broken tarmac, plus some gravel tracks and loose surfaces.

None of the roads or tests have too rough a surface. Navigation clues will be varied, but not intended to catch you out and will be familiar to anyone who has attended the HRCR Training School. There will be some pre plot to get you started and some plot-and- bash to test your teamwork. Due to the pre-plotted sections the event should be well suited to novice crews. The entry fee will be £125 and this includes Morning Coffee, Lunch, Tea halt and Evening meal for both crew members.”
