St Wilfrids 2013 Regs

Ripon MC“Welcome to the 2013 St Wilfrids Rally, a new addition to the classic rally calendar, which will be held in the Vale of York and nearby Hambleton Hills, designed to provide a friendly, but competitive day of motor sport.

Ripon Motor Sport Club has a proud tradition of running the St Wilfrids Rally as a road rally stretching back to the 1970s, and it is the organising team’s intention to maintain this tradition with the 2013 version of the event.

The 2013 event is brought to you by a team of enthusiastic organisers, two of  whom are experienced organisers of and competitors on classic rallies and is a dual permit Historic Road Rally and Targa Rally comprising special tests linked by regularity sections. The route will be given as a mixture of pre‐plot and some plot & bash using simple navigation instructions.

The National B event forms part of the Autosessive 2013 HRCR Clubmans Championship.

The Clubmans event running alongside is aimed at crews without a competition licence or who may want to enjoy the tests, the route and the timing without dealing with the navigation as well, or because their cars are a little younger.

Putting on an event of this type is a tremendous undertaking and we would like to thank our advertisers and partners for their support and to the many marshals from Ripon and many other clubs without whose voluntary assistance the event could not take place.

We look forward to receiving your entry and you can be assured of a warm Yorkshire welcome.”
