“Bognor Regis Motor Club Ltd welcomes you to the twentieth running of the Regis Rally as an historic event.
The Regis Rally is the last round of the Autosessive HRCR Clubmans Rally Championship. It is, once again, organised by the same team of experienced competitors and we will be continuing with our successful event format.
The start and finish for this years event is at the Aldingbourne Country Centre, Chichester, West Sussex. We have put together a 140-mile route in West Sussex & Hampshire, with timed to the second regularities, interspersed with special tests on private ground.
The navigation is set as per the HRCR Championship guidelines but it will retain the Regis characteristics that have been popular with Expert and Novice crews alike. Among the types of navigation included will be Marked Map, Jogularity and Tulips but there will still be straightforward “plot and bash” sections, that should not entail having to stop and plot, with sensible average regularity speeds. We always keep the expert crews ‘on their toes’ but we aim to get the novice crews around the route without too much difficulty.
Included in the entry fee is a light lunch and a hot two course supper at the Aldingbourne Country Centre for both members of the crew. The bar will be open for liquid refreshments to either celebrate your success or commiserate over that “If Only…”
The organising team looks forward to receiving your entry and we hope to welcome back our regulars along with some ‘first timers’.
For those competitors who do not want the expense of competition licences so late in the year or the complexity of navigation, the Regis Run is a Clubman’s status event. It uses a similar route with all the driving tests of the Rally but the Navigation will be by a simple tulip road book complete with maps, making this an ideal event for beginners.
The Regis Run is open only to all fully elected members of the organising Club.
If not competing, we would welcome your assistance in marshalling the event”
