“Last December, myself and Maurice Ellison revived the Primrose Trophy rally for Clitheroe Motor Club. The event run in December 2013 was a 12 car event where we teamed novices and experts together.

This years event follows that theme by giving crews an introduction to plot and bash rallying. However, this will not be a Mensa test, the navigation will be simple and similar to what you would experience on a national b rally so please don’t be put off by the fact that it’s different to what you would normally do.

Having been round the route several times, this decision was taken as it allows the event to flow better, and will provide you with more competitive miles than if we ran the same route as pre plot.

We have taken onboard some of the competitor feedback from the 12 car event in December and have made some changes to how we run the event directly from this feedback.
