John Robson & Hexham 100 2014 Regs

Hexham MC“The Hexham & District Motor Club are delighted to welcome all competitors from our own and the invited clubs to the John Robson Navigation Rally, a well established event which is noted for it’s innovative route, slick organisation and a very social atmosphere. This year will be no different, with a route featuring some classic roads from rallying’s heyday, many unused for a considerable time.

The navigation will, we hope, be straightforward, simple and without ambiguity, no need for a MENSA degree! We will be making instructions particularly easy for Novice and Beginner crews with a straightforward, all tulip roadbook.

This years rally is based in Alston, England’s highest market town, giving us the opportunity to sample some excellent and underused roads in the High Pennines. The route on traffic free, all asphalt, roads will provide a great night’s entertainment and, as usual, we will finish off with the famous Hexham “Apres Rallye” supper giving an opportunity to chat about the evenings “Happenings”

For a great welcome, and a great night’s rallying………….

Come and join us

We Look Forward To Your Company”

We are fortunate to have a superb collection of classic roads and byways in the High Pennines, miles and miles of traffic free roads and we would love to share them with you. All firm asphalt so enthusiasts can enter safe in the knowledge that they are not going to damage their cherished motors.

The navigation used will avoid trickery, we will supply all Novice/ Beginner crews with a very simple, all tulip road book, while those who would like to test their skills with something a bit more challenging will find the Masters instructions straightforward and without ambiguity.

As always, we will be placing great emphasis on the social side of the event and our evening format means that there will be ample time for to swop tales while enjoying the traditional Hexham “Apres Rallye” buffet.

There are no strangers on Hexham events, only friends we have yet to meet, and we promise you an extremely warm welcome and a great nights entertainment.”
