“Following on from the success of last years event we have decided to remain with a similar format (some old; some new and some changed). This event is organised in an attempt to introduce newcomers to the sport. To this extent the Navigation will be straightforward with the competitive element being the driving tests. (Special Tests)

-Tests are run on private property with a mixture of tarmac, concrete or loose surfaces.
-Tests will vary in length.
-Approximately 18 tests are planned for the day.
-Cars will start at one minute intervals.
-No reversing required – unless you make a mess of it!
-Bogey (Minimum) times are set at 30mph average, so there are some measures to try to make sure no-one beats them. These measurers may include; chicanes, slaloms and the occasional 360.
-There will be no ‘recce’ or walking of tests, crews will complete them blind.
-All test information will be given in the form of diagrams, tulips and other information.

Sections of the route on the public road have been set to a very easy schedule (if you arrive early you will be able to wait for your due time), navigation will also be straight forward.

START/FINISH LOCATION
The event will start/finish at Ballinderry Inn, 13 Moira Road, Upper Ballinderry, Lisburn BT28 2HQ – same location as last year. OS Sheet 20 Ref: 161644.

The entire route, including tests will not exceed 100 miles.

The finish & prize giving (at approx. 5pm) will be held in Ballinderry Inn.”
