South West Endurance / Primrose 2014 Regs

South West Enduro“Welcome to the sixth South West Endurance Rally, which is scheduled to take place over the weekend of 8th/9th March 2014.  This year we have 6 events for you to choose from on one weekend.  Choose one (or two) that suits you!

Rally 1 – The Classic South West Endurance Rally: £348

Rally 2 – The South West Endurance Championship Rally: £299

This time the event will be a one day rally, over approximately 13 hours. There will be 53 miles / 19 selectifs of forest tracks and one private drive, followed by a short (29 miles) night rally, which forms a round of the Sportway Tyres Endurance Road Rally Championship.

Rally 3 – The Day Endurance Rally – Entry: £249

For those who do not like the night rally part, this is a rally for you made up of just day time selectifs.

Rally 4 – The South West Targa Rally – Entry: £249

A rally of day time selectifs for non-endurance specification cars, this is the rally for you.

Rally 5 – The Primrose Rally – Entry: £99

If you prefer, enter the Primrose rally which is a 175 mile night navigation rally including 4 tests of approximately 14 miles, and is a round of the ASWMC Navigation Championship.

Rally 6 – The Nightmare Two Rally – Entry: £49

If you prefer, enter the Nightmare Two rally – a Clubman’s event which will be just a 90 mile road rally. NO MSA Licence required – just your Club card.

So you can choose from a 17 hour event to a 5 hour event or mix and match by competing on event 3 or 4 and add event 5 or 6 for your enjoyment.

If you wish to do the Classic and have a registration with the Sportway Championship your championship points will be awarded for your performance up to the end of the Championship rally. We have taken this on board after some of the competitors have said they do not like driving on long night rallies, but you will have to do 29 miles at night on the public highway to keep within the spirit of the sport. The same principle will be taken for the ASWMC championship points if you may wish to do the complete event the points will be awarded for your performance from the start of the night leg.

The Targa rally is open to any crew with any cc car which is in road spec; the selectifs are at a lower speed so come along and have some fun in your rally car!

We have changed the name of the ASWMC rally to the Primrose Rally to make it sound more user friendly.

The event will be based at Badgers Hold on Dartmoor, (Dartmeet PL20 6SG) where we have documentation, start, evening halt and breakfast with Prize Giving.

Our ultimate goal is for you all to have FUN. We look forward to receiving your entry but if you are unable to enter the event please come along and marshal and we will make you very welcome what ever you decide.

We look forward to welcoming you in March.”
